About
By entering through the narrow gate we give ourself on the way to life! but it is of course only possible if we leave behind all we 'carry' with us, the longing for riches, honour, to have a name in this world and many more matters which tie us to this world. It surely takes a step in faith to put off all of this and take our journey on the way behind the narrow gate, naked without having anything on us than this faith in God's promises. This is also the very reason that there are so few who find this gate and go through it. Some, once started on the narrow way find it too hard or are longing back to the things they have put off and go astray on the broad way which leads to destruction and even make them self believe that they are still on the narrow way. Just like Lot's wife who longed back to Sodom or the angel of the church in Ephesus (Rev. 2:1-5) whom had forsaken the first love and had to repent (return to the narrow way).
