Two distinct schools of economic thought have challenged mainstream economic theory in recent decades. While both the post-Keynesian and classical approaches to economics have been exhaustively contrasted with the neo-classical mainstream, there have been limited attempts to compare them with one another. In Competition, Technology and Money, leading proponents of post-Keynesian and classical economics, broadly defined, consider a series of key issues to compare and contrast the contributions of both schools.
