Parlami D'amore and Other Love Stories

The volume contains four tales about love---people searching for it, looking for it in all the wrong places, struggling to find it. The stories show that love is a power that makes us fight a system, cross borders, but also makes us do things we later regret. "Parlami d'amore" tells the story of a Polish girl's involvement with an Italian 'Casanova' and her subsequent search for the father of her son. "From Moscow with Love" is the cold war love story of a Swedish scientist and his Russian interpreter fighting the communist system. "From St. Petersburg without Love" is the story of love and betrayal of a Miami lawyer and a Russian musician set in the post cold war era. Finally, in "Prearranged Love" the Indian culture of prearranged marriages is confronted with the desire of two young people to be together.
