The Binding

The Binding Volume 1 is an action/adventure book with sci-fi overtones. Complex characters possess depth and have strong interactions with each other. The story begins at the great Pyramid of Giza and unfolds in New Orleans Louisiana. The characters include a 5,000 year old Starman and his companion, a sarcastic telepathic cat. They are joined by the last great Voodoo Queen in New Orleans along with an eclectic mix of street people. They bind together to fight the Russian Mafia in New Orleans. The Russians are planning to introduce a crop killing super nanovirus called The Destroyer. Their plan is to hide the nanovirus in 20,000 tons of fertilizer shipped from St. Petersburg Russia then unleash it on America's crops. The heroes have to leverage all their telepathic, levitation, mind control vortex and voodoo curses to remain alive. They are aided by the fighting Louisiana Creoles living in a place known as "The End of the World". The story is quick and fast paced with a complex plot and maintains an interesting story line throughout the book.
