Konstitut︠s︡ii︠a︡ i sistemnyĭ krizis v Rossii

The author explores the complex and contradictory processes of the constitutional-legal development of the country during the 1930-1990s, attempting to understand the development of the Russian constitution and the impact of constitutional provisions on the evolution of the punitive policy of the state. On the basis of personal experience of participation in the electoral process and work in representative bodies of the Soviet government, the author explores the causes of the systemic crisis that swept the state in the late 1980s - early 1990s.
