About
Play in two acts about the 1989 Newcastle earthquake, based on interviews conducted with 32 people who experienced the collapse of the Newcastle Workers' Club during the earthquake. The interviewees' words are used as 'verbatim' or documentary theatre and exemplify the use of oral history technique in community theatre. First performed at the Newcastle Playhouse in November 1991. The program for the first production is included.
