Bringing together several key personalities of the French-speaking novel, the authors of the contributions gathered in this book question the inclusion of world and social data in literary fiction. They also seek to elucidate the features and issues of a world view - that of the writer - as well as the way it expresses itself in the aesthetic forms of the novel.
