Báseň v próze Líčení odráží autorovu potřebu popsat konec děsivého dvacátého století, v němž se narodil. Pokud dříve spisovateli stačilo uchopit svět v jeho rozpadu, kdy ještě můžeme podobu právě zanikajícího světa z díla vytušit, jemu už nezbývalo nic jiného, než ukázat trosky, z nichž nejde vyčíst nic, dokonce ani příčinu všudypřítomného násilí. Útržkovité informace a symbolické zkratky však o to více poodhalují děsivou atmosféru padesátých let v Československu, se známými i tušenými důsledky.
