Book by Geo. H. Jessup, music by Villiers Standford, staged under the personal supervision of Mr. J.C. Duff. Originally produced at the "Opera Comique" in London, March 2, 1896, under the direction of Augustus Harris, and played with unprecedented success in England, Ireland and Scotland.
