About
Word Prediction is text entry technique that facilitates handwriting method. This technique guess the word based on the given first characters. In my work the word is predicted based on the first two characters. In this work, the moment user writes the first two characters the system displays the most frequently used word from the dictionary. However, the word might not be the word what the user intended to write in that case the system will displays some alternative words so that the user choose the word from the list. There might be a chance that the word might not exist in the list hence, the system will ask the user to write the third character and the predicted list of words will be changed accordingly. In this way the user either will find the desired word predicted or he/she will write the full word. The system has an accuracy rate of 81.39%.
