배유장(裴幼章, 1618-1687)의 유고집이다. 본관은 달성이고 자는 장은章隱이며 전라도사 상익尙益의 아들로 백부인 인지紉芷의 후사를 이었다. 이현일李玄逸ㆍ권두인權斗寅 등과 교유하였다. 1679년(숙종 5) 내시교관을 제수하였으나 나가지 않았으며, 1654년(효종 5) 세한당歲寒堂을 지어 성리학을 연구하는 한편, 후학의 양성에 전념하였다. 권1 시 87편ㆍ서書 6편[趙絅ㆍ金應祖ㆍ金啓光ㆍ丁時遠ㆍ柳英立]ㆍ서序 3편ㆍ기記 2편ㆍ발跋 3편ㆍ상량문 2편ㆍ제문 9편, 권2 묘갈명 1편ㆍ행장 3편ㆍ잡저 4편[奢儉說ㆍ葬埋說ㆍ淸凉山遊錄ㆍ巖上敬愛錄]ㆍ부록[輓詞ㆍ제문ㆍ행장ㆍ贈遺詩] 등이 실려 있다. 1883년(고종 20) 권연하權璉夏의 서문과 1888년 송석宋襫의 발문이 있다.
