"In 2017, at the age of 102, Mar passed away. Those close to her knew her as a special woman who gave colour to life, literally and figuratively. Ten years ago, Marijn Bax started to photograph Mar in her house, fascinated by the fusion between her movements and the walls and furniture, as well as by the colours and fabrics surrounding her.
