About
Arrivé au pouvoir en mai 1997, le président Laurent-Désiré Kabila veut "démobutiser" la société congolaise, pour en faire une "démocratie populaire". Dans cet esprit, il initie les "Conférences provinciales sur la reconstruction", forums pendant lesquels les masses rurales et urbaines proposeraient des solutions pour un développement harmonieux de la RDC. Les différentes provinces vont se mettre au travail. C'est ce rapport d'un intérêt historique certain que nous publions ici en quatre volumes (Bas Congo, Katanga, Sud-Kivu, Kasai oriental).
