La presente obra constituye un trabajo inédito de don Miguel Triana, que sale a la luz pública gracias a la autorización que para ello le otorgara al Banco el Doctor Jorge Triana, hijo de don Miguel y cuya repentina desaparición, cuando esta obra se hallaba en prensa, ha constituido pérdida muy sensible para la sociedad colombiana.
