The Players' third annual classic revival "She Stoops to Conquer," by Oliver Goldsmith, Esq. With a prologue written by Oliver Herford, Esq. and spoken by Henry E. Dixey in the character of George Bernard Shaw. Produced under the direction of William Seymour, general stage manager, Alexander Leftwich, managing committee for The Players, Francis Wilson, Daniel Frohman, George P. Brett and Louis Evan Shipman. The scenery designed by Norman Bel Geddes, rearranged for this production by Gerstle Mack, the costumes by The Eaves Company under the supervision of Aline Bernstein, the wigs by Oscar Berner, the furniture and decorations are lent by Messrs. Schmitt Brothers, the scenery painted by Robert W. Bergman, the Empire Theatre is used by courtesy of Gilbert Miller for Charles Frohman, Inc. and David Belasco.
