The first printing of a Christian Literature in Anal Chin is from a translation by the Rev. Dengkunga of the Methodist Church, Upper Burma under the rules prescribed by the British and Foreign Bible Society. Rev. Dengkunga (1903-1977) was a pioneer Missionary to Kabaw Valley ( presently known as Tamu District, Sagaing Divison, Myanmar) sent by North East India General Mission. He and his co-missionaries arrived Nakala village on 22nd January, 1925. The hard copy of the first printing work of his translation of the Gospel According to St. Mark into Anal Chin dialect published by British and Foreign Bible Society, Burma Agency has been archived at home by his youngest son, Mr. Lalchatuana Colney.
