Pour Ahmadou Kourouma

What is new in this book is the rejection of labels when one reads Ahmadou Kourouma. The transparency of his novels is an illusion and invites a careful analysis of Kourouma's novelistic narrative whose built character translates a vision of the real. The novelist knew how to articulate social demands with the imaginary and the romantic.
