After Pearl Harbor incident in December 1941, China and the United States carried out a close military cooperation, and nearly 5,000 young Chinese intellectuals joined the army as interpreting officers. They participated in various military operations from Yunnan, China, Burma to India, from the army to the air force, from special operations to logistics. From the experience of these interpreting officers, we can see much more of the historical truth of China's war of resistance against Japanese aggression. This book also contains some unprecedented historical archival materials. For a long time, these allied translators were mistakenly ignored and even vilified in China. Some offspring children of these allied interpreters have spent several years to search and collect their predecessors' records and memoirs, and now they published this book to tell those untold stories to the public.
