Theyare called The Five Books of Moses. So Moses wrote them. Right? From burning bush to the wrong side of the Jordan over forty years later, the Lord spoke and Moses wrote it all down. Judaism venerates these writings as The Torah. Christianity picks and chooses from an A la carte menu and proclaims, aItas in the Bible.a Whatever the books are calledawhatever hand or hands recorded the wordsathe result has been that billions of human beings over a span of almost 3,000 years have tried to live their lives according to precepts contained in these writings. Wars have been fought, dynasties have risen and fallen, and persecution of all kinds has been justified by the firm belief that God wanted it that way. Maybe itall clear things up if we tag along with Moses and the Lord and see what they really talked about.
