About
The research, conservation and analysis of materials of the El Cerrito archaeological site, carried out from 2005 to date by Daniel Valencia Cruz and Alicia Bocanegra Islands, have been compiled in a single volume. The book gives an account of the main structures of the ceremonial center, such as the main pyramid, which rests on a leveling platform of 113 meters per side, as well as the so-called Sculpture Square. Also, the findings of offerings in residential units, the different types of pottery found (Teotihuacan, Toltec, Otomi), in addition to stone objects, mainly projectile points made with obsidian and flint are analyzed.
