About
Sinds een tiental jaar kent Oostende een hergeboorte en wordt ze terug op de culturele kaart van Vlaanderen, België en Europa geplaatst. De tentoonstelling 'Bonjour Ostende' tijdens de zomer 2013 in de Venetiaanse gaanderijen moet daarvan getuigen met schilderijen, tekeningen en gravures van binnen- en buitenlandse kunstenaars waar onder, uiteraard James Ensor, Léon Spilliaert, Constant Permeke en Jan De Clerck, maar eveneens buitenlandse schilders zoals William Turner, Erich Heckel, Edouard Pignon, Leo Gestel, Felix Nussbaum of Heinrich Campendonck. De titel van de tentoonstelling refereert aan het betoverende olieverfschilderij uit 1927 van de Vlaamse schilder Floris Jespers dat op de tentoonstelling te bewonderen zal zijn. De hedendaagse kunst wordt uiteraard niet vergeten. Schilderijen van Iannis Kounellis, Roger Raveel of Thierry De Cordier, alsook videowerk en foto's van Lili Dujourie zullen op de tentoonstelling worden getoond.0Exhibition: Ventiaanse Gaanderijen, Oostende, Belgium (15.6.-15.9.2013).
