About
Kaitlin had it all—a good man, good job, good friends. She had a pretty wonderful life . . . until a tragic car accident left her paralyzed from the waist down. And then she lost almost everything. The love of her life left her, her friends deserted her, her self-confidence vanished . . .
Now, two years later, Kaitlin is finally becoming adjusted to her new life. The horrible nightmares are still frequent visitors, but they're not as bad as they once were. The wheelchair is beginning to feel like a part of her body, and in a way, it is exactly that. Her house and car have been altered to help her with her handicap, and although still frustrated, she is making great progress. Her job as a "411 Information" operator is going well, and she is making new friends. For the first time in more than two years, Kaitlin is beginning to feel human again. Safe again.
And then, in one afternoon, everything changes.
During a routine call at work, Kaitlin overhears what appears to be a double-murder. And she is the only witness. By the next day, Kaitlin is sure she is being followed, that someone is watching her . . . and she knows exactly who the someone is . . . and, to make matters even worse, no one believes her story . . .
