Keith Rowe (Plymouth 1940), an English free improvisation tabletop guitarist and painter, shows a clear willingness to explore the questions that the visual arts begin to ask themselves during the twentieth century, and smuggle them into the musical universe: how we experience the modification of the notion of space in the musical arts, what is the role of listening in the re-signification of the sound event and how timbrian exploration is transferred to the whole world, starting with everyday life.
