Retablos y piedras santos

A selection of fifty-four pieces from the collection of imagery of the unit of museology of the MUSEF, separated into three categories: altarpieces, Holy stones and crosses. These religious art pieces are bearers of Christian images and at the same time are realizations of the Andean wak'a's (huaca) to deities such as Illapa or, even, Pachamama, "an unequal struggle for the sense of the sacred.
