About
**English**: First half of the 17th century. Europe lives in the throes of the Thirty Years' War. France, led by Cardinal Richelieu, had recently come to the support of the Protestant side. Spanish troops, for their part, launched a campaign to raze the French provinces to the ground. With the idea of recovering the initiative in the centre of Europe, Philip IV entrusted Francisco de Melo with the task of moving the French army away from the border with Spain. The captain general of the armies of Flanders sets his eyes on the French town of Rocroi. He marches there with the soldiers and officers of the Spanish, Italian, German, Burgundian and Walloon thirds. Sergeant Miguel Lobera Santos serves in the third of Albuquerque, who will be responsible for telling in first person the vicissitudes and hardships of being a soldier in those times, as well as the future of the conflict that took place there on May 19, 1643.
