About
This journal is a guide and a help to anyone and everyone who has experienced the ravages of any form of trauma in their lives. The reader should not feel that they have to do everything that is suggested here in this journal, and they can and should skip whatever part they care to. The reader can always come back to it or not, as they choose. When they are uncomfortable, stop, take a break, talk to someone, or listen to a relaxation tape or CD. Use this ‘guided journal' at one's own pace and in their own time... and, as the reader does, he or she will experience healing in the process. Author Kathryn Seifert, Ph.D. is a psychotherapist, author, speaker, and researcher who specializes in family violence and trauma. She is Founder and CEO of Eastern Shore Psychological Services (www.ESPSMD.com), a private practice that focuses on serving children, adolescents, and at-risk youth and their families.
