Henry and Perkland "Perk" Thomas's dad has been missing, and now they spend most of their days alone at home with each other in their home. Or they did until they were invited to Bible Club. Quickly, they became part of the Bible study group that calls themselves the Good News Gang. In this gang, Henry and Perk would find great friends and Jesus. One night, Perkland is saved by a seven-foot-tall robot, R3d-3mp-t10n, after they were attacked by a gang. After this, R3d-3mp-t10n, renamed HyGrade, became part of their group.
