Tales from Around the World by Dr. Mike Lockett is a collection of ten folktales from around the world. The stories come from ten different cultures. Each is told by Dr. Lockett in a dialect meant to help readers imagine the story being told by someone from the area where the story was first told. Lockett has skillfully integrated vocabulary from different cultures into the stories. Each story is accompanied by folk music that matches the stories. Tales from Around the World received the Seal of Excellence Award from "Creative Child Magazine" and an I-Parenting Media Award for its high quality and clean content.
