Winner of the "SPIT" on-line poetry competition sponsored by "DEF Poetry Jam" and "BET". Her work has been published in several mediums and she continues to feature and speak at conferences, events and venues. She is the Founder, Executive Director and host of the "Dancin' Tongues Artist Showcase", a non-profit, grass-root community-based organization. The primary goal for "DT" is providing a free platform for artists to gain wider exposure.
