Summer Blessings

Catherine Blessing and her husband return from their annual January cruise to find that Catherine has won the state lottery. They decide to use part of the proceeds to lease a large estate for the summer on the Caribbean island of St. Xavier. With a family including Catherineas 100-year-old mother and her three-year-old grandson, the vacation proves full of excitement. There is a kidnaping and the discovery of a large-scale money-laundering scheme. The police chief becomes a friend and regular visitor soon after the group arrives. A plane crash, a nervous breakdown, a group of nudists and friendships with the islanders make life with the Blessings a never-ending adventure.
