Hello. I am the author. It is hard to believe that Desert Storm (the Persian Gulf War) has been 20 years ago now. I was with 2nd Marine Division, 8th Tanks, Bravo Command. I had been attached to 8th Tanks from 2nd AAV Battalion, H&S Company and attached to that unit from my unit of origin 4nd AAV Battalion, H&S Company out of Tampa, Florida. I wrote this book about my story and reflections on how an omnipotent, omniscient and loving God, reached down to His creation and delivered me out from of one of life’s great trials – war and even more importantly, liberated me from sin’s final effect, eternal separation from Himself. The war is the Persian Gulf War in 1991. The book takes the reader on a journey of my life from being adopted by this great nation after having arrived as a two-year-old child on a Freedom Flight from communist Cuba to Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm and finally becoming an occupational therapist after having gone through physical therapy due to an accidental gunshot wound in Kuwait during Operation Desert Storm.
