About
A pictorial history of Robena Mine located in Greene County, Pennsylvania, USA. The mine and its coal processing plant was owned and operated by United States Steel Corporation. On December 6, 1962, thirty seven (37) miners lost their lives in the Frosty Run mine shaft explosion. This was one of the worst mine disasters in Greene County history.
