About
1914년 임피현臨陂縣이 폐지되고 옥구군沃溝郡에 소속되자 임피향교 유림들이 옛 읍지를 참조하여 다시 편찬한 읍지이다. 1910년대의 지세ㆍ경계ㆍ산천 등은 국한문 혼용으로 소개하고 있고, 그외 관공서와 학교의 현황도 소개하고 있다. 향교와 인물 중심으로 기록하고 있으며, 예전 임피현에 속했던 임피면臨陂面ㆍ서수면瑞穗面ㆍ나포면羅浦面ㆍ성산면聖山面ㆍ개정면開井面 등을 기록하고 있다. 서병주徐丙周ㆍ고규상高奎相ㆍ한재교韓在敎ㆍ이권제李權濟ㆍ황석규黃錫奎의 서문이 있다.
