About
Great book, well researched with some very hard to come historical photos. Even spoke to the author and he was very helpful in helping me locate some of those photos. A must have if you want to know some of the history of the buildings of Beale Street!!!! ( amazon customer). Beale Street in Memphis. Beale street was the center of Memphis for black people. Block for block it was the only sizable area which black people could identify with and where they could enjoy themselves (back cover)
