About
It was designed by Ferdinand de Saussure as "the science that studies the life of signs within social life." The process of operation of the signs to convey meaning. Semiosis and semiotic process are equivalent to some authors. Semiotic elements: The sign or graphic representative, meaning, the idea, concept, The interpreter: it is the reader, The Interpretation: The level of understanding. For Charles Morris "in the semiosis, something is taken into account, something mediated by something else." Says Pierre Guiraud (The Semiotics): Semiology is the science of sign systems, languages, codes and signals.
