Voor 'decorations' begon Bosmans zijn onderzoek met een 'close reading' van 20+ Jaar Witte de With, een publicatie uitgegeven door het instituut in 2012, die een overzicht biedt van alle tentoonstellingen en andere projecten bij Witte de With tussen 1990 en 2011. Bosmans maakte talrijke voetnoten, krabbels, bedenkingen en schetsen in de marges van het hele boek. Door de toevoeging van deze kanttekeningen stelt hij deze sterk geredigeerde geschiedschrijving bloot aan nieuwe interpretaties. Het boek bevat ook foto?s ontleend aan 10,000 Years of Nordic Folk Art, een archief opgestart door kunstenaar Asger Jorn als onderdeel van het Scandinavian Institute for Comparative Vandalism.00Exhibition: Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam, The Netherlands (09.09. - 31.12.2016).
