This is the first episode of a mysterious, magical, moving and monstrously magnificent tale about a (very very old) young boy and a world which is quite literally half good and half evil. For the boy and for the world EVERYTHING is about to change, and definitely not for the better.
I have decided to publish the first part of the novel, up to the first 'cliff hanger' whilst I am editing the rest, partly as a teaser, but mostly to get some feedback from people other than friends (who obviously all love it!).
