Chr. tot derde eeuw na Chr. zien, dat Georgië een land is met een zeer oorspronkelijke en hoogstaande cultuur. De talrijke afbeeldingen tonen alle verbluffende details. Zo wordt ook duidelijk waarom in de middeleeuwen bij de oprichting van de Orde van het Gulden Vlies teruggegrepen werd op de oude Griekse mythe, een mythe die Georgië verbindt met West-Europa, zelfs tot aan het Nederlandse koningshuis. Exhibition: Drents Museum Assen from March 6th until 27th June 2010.
