Moments in Time

In a candlelit room a hypnosis session opens a door to a past life and the reader is propelled into a long lost world - to the edge of Nero's Empire, when life was cheap, conditions harsh and powerful people often corrupt, vicious and carelessly cruel. But some men revered the principles of Rome's founding fathers and sought to uphold a more honourable code. Through the opening of this portal into ancient times, the day to day existence of a band of Roman soldiers in the first century AD - the dangers they faced, their comradeship, laughter and victories - is revealed and how, amid their fight for survival, a love was found which would echo across the centuries.
