Dr. Peter Greer’s career has been full of controversy, particularly after he releases the results of a study which claims to have found a treatment for gender dysphoria, which Dr. Greer refuses to call ‘transgenderism’.

He finds himself as one of the most infamous living scientists, until his car swerves off of a dark, mountain highway. Now the world thinks he’s dead—no one knows that he was saved by a young woman who brings Dr. Greer to her little cabin so she can nurse him back to health.
