Delightful Moomin Family: Adventure Diary is a sequel to the 1990-91 Moomin TV series. Like its prequel, it was also produced by TV Tokyo, Telescreen Japan Inc., and Telecable Benelux B.V.. The series is more loosely based on the Moomin comic strips, first illustrated and written by Tove Jansson herself and later by her brother, Lars Jansson. In the European version, there is no separation between the prequel and the sequel as in the Japanese version, therefore it is better known as episode 79-104.
