Scrap Book of a Prime Minister

This is a scrap book. It is a collection of excerpts from some of my jumbled readings of books and journals that came my way at different occasions. I made a habit of keeping a scrap book long ago during my university days, inspired by an enlightened Principal of our college - J W Thomas, who was endowed with a bright mind and unbiased views of education even in the days of British rule. This is not the only reason for my habit of keeping the scrap book. The socio-diplomatic life in the Soviet Union was conducive to my reading a variety of books about the world and keeping notes for reference.' - I K Gujral
