About
After Wendy Shanahan loses her nineteen year-old son to a road-side bomb in Baghdad, she plots her revenge. Growing up under the shadow of Heart Mountain—former internment camp for Japanese-Americans during World War II—Wendy comes up with a plan to open her own internment camp. Enlisting the help of her ranch hands, she plots to kidnap a handful of selected targets and hold them hostage. Ironically, as soon as Wendy begins to have second thoughts about her state of mind, she gets caught up in a home-grown terrorist network known as Purification by Fire. The network plans to poison a porn convention in Las Vegas hosted by the Western Babylon Resort & Casino, promoting itself as Two Thousand and One Arabian Nights. Despite her reservations, Wendy feels compelled to foil the poison plot. So Wendy and her wrangler crew saddle up and head for Vegas. Things start to heat up as soon as the Heartland Rangers hit the strip. Just when it looks like the flames of Purification have cooled things off, the action dramatically shifts back to the ranch where a terrifying battle for survival ensues. Wendy is pitted against an opponent who wants nothing less than her total physical and moral debasement. But Wendy has something else in mind. And it isn’t pretty…
