About
Autobiographical account of former sea-going Engineer who tranferred to the United Kingdom's fledgling Oil Industry in late 1970's followed by 25 years on senior management staff with the largest Oil Producer in the world : Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco). Born in Edinburgh Scotland in 1945 Roderick MacSween grew up on the island of Scalpay, Harris and following junior schooling on the island became a student at Inverness Royal Academy. From Inverness he moved to Glasgow and Stow College of Engineering. In 1965 he joined Blue Star Line of London and sailed on many of their vessels to Australia and New Zealand; North and South America.
