About
Buczacz (also spelled Buchach) is an area near the town of Innisfree, Alberta. The Buczacz Ukrainian Catholic Church was built in 1911-1912 and was named St. Mary's Church, commonly known as Hlus' Church. It was located 11 miles north of Innisfree, Alberta. In 1959 a new church was built and named St. Nicholas. The old church, St. Mary's, was moved to the Ukrainian Village Park near Elk Island Park.
