About
It Gets Worse is a collection of nine dark stories dealing with death, religion, child abuse, the supernatural, and cosmic negativity. Fran is a socially awkward kid who gets even more awkward at his friend's funeral. Leo is there to try and keep him in line, but Fran won't let anything be easy in "The Pews." Ben and Steph wait anxiously by the water to see their car be brought up. As they wait they contemplate how to reprimand their kids, who took the car for a joy ride in "Waterproof." In "Wood," a young boy must stand up to his alcoholic father or continue to endure the endless physical abuse. In "Bark," a psychotic neighbor floods the street with noise. However, she doesn't like to be watched, and when she is, she will attack in ways unimaginable.  Carl recovers from an overdose while have to fend for his life against his boss' goons in "Dat Way." In "Bless You," we discover the real reason for the saying. It seems like just another common courtesy. Until it isn't said and our inner demons come out to wreak havoc. Claude and Leonid work security at an art museum. It is a pretty cush job until robbers show up. The security guards and the robber have a power struggle until the gun go's off in "Heist." In "Motel 666" Lee is a hitman just trying to do his job. He is proficient but this time there is a child involved. Lee must do his job or let his morality take over.  Tim finds his roommates dead with gunshot wounds to the head. When he tries to get help an omnipotent voice talks to him and wants him to join his roommates. Tim has his faith and sanity questioned in "Revelations."
