Born during World War II, Rusty Lutz arrived during the golden era of radio. After television arrived on the scene, some wondered, who would want to go into radio broadcasting? But Rusty did.

And the latter half of the twentieth century provided plenty of events for Rusty to cover. From natural disasters to multiple wars to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Rusty worked on serious occurrences of the day, providing the significance of world events to listeners.

And while all this was happening, the world was changing. Women could become something other than housewives—even presidential candidates.
