About
As an underprivileged, scrawny boy, Travis's days are passed in some combination of being picked on by classmates, being tormented by his teacher, being beaten by his alcoholic father, or being blamed by his mother. Travis handles these problems with the naiveté of a pure-hearted child, until he discovers a secret under a bridge. This unlikely secret evens the odds for young Travis, and allows him to find the acceptance and friendship he's always sought, but never known.
This novelette is a modern fairy tale full of drool, blood, claws, and fangs.
