“Oh my god,” he breathes, and he feels the blunt end of one of the things burrowing into the space between his boot and his pant leg. It feels as wet and warm as a tongue. He kicks at it, or at least he tries. “Get off of me! Get- fuck- let go!”

The tentacle gives him a hard warning squeeze and doesn’t stop. Its slow exploration of his body inches higher and higher until Kane’s twisting in his bonds, bucking and kicking and accomplishing exactly nothing. He fights until he exhausts himself and then lies there gasping. The tentacles don’t budge, except for the one creeping up his thigh. It budges all it wants.
