About
Fracking, Fisheries and Food…A Guide to the Environment. The Castle Debates Report is a unique guide to environmental science, law and policy. Featuring contributions from distinguished lawyers, scientists and policy-makers, it provides a digest of key environmental issues including climate change, fracking, fisheries, aviation and sustainable transport. It is entitled ‘Environmental Challenges and Opportunities 2010-15’ and is a compendium of the summaries of the 25 Debates held from February 2011 to December 2014 attended by some 4,000 delegates. Castle Debates is a not-for-profit organisation, the aim of which is to highlight environmental science, law and policy in the UK. •Our aim is to disseminate objective factual information to anyone wishing to understand the major environmental challenges of our times; •We convene a panel of leading experts to explain the science, law and public policy underpinning environmental issues; •We provide an independent and impartial platform for environmental debates in the UK; •Our Debates take place in London. They are free to attend and open to all. Our morning Debates are held on an approximately monthly basis in London in association with Sykes Environmental and the Legal Sector Alliance.
